" ما مسئولین کشور را به تحمیل مرگ تدریجی به زندانیان سیاسی بیمار ، متهم می کنیم "
We condemn and accuse the Iranian authorities to impose a gradual death on political prisoners with illness.
Dear Dr. Ahmed Shaheed. The Representative of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Council and Special Rapporteur on Follow-up of cases of human rights violations in Iran.
Mistreatment of Iranian prisoners, including political prisoners, has been a concern of the International community and several UN Special Rapporteurs, especially yours as the last UN Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment what have been cited in a various and commonly applied methods of mistreatment, including beatings, stress positions, the denial of medical attention, and prolonged solitary confinement. The Special Rapporteur certainly notes that such mistreatment affects mainly human rights defenders, journalists, social activists, political activists, religious groups, and individuals associated with various minority groups and sometimes criminal and addicted prisoners.
We would like to highlight and draw your attention to the concept of health, illness and the denial of medical attention to all prisoners especially the political prisoners. We are urging and concerned that "The International observers, community and Human Rights Council should urgently and precisely monitor and follow to control the health and illnesses of all patients within all Iranian prison establishments and focus on the fact that many of them might need vital and urgent medical operations or hospital care ".
Dr Saheed as you may already know that Islamic Republic by relying on the Article IV of their Constitution is constantly in violations of human rights in a very wide scale in all political, economic and social aspects of the people’s day to day life. They have shown that they have no remorse in killing or torturing or any compassion towards their fellow human being, their political opponents, civil society activists and independent trade unionists, religious and ethnic minorities, thinkers and women in the last three decades. Furthermore and as a matter of fact how they have neglected their medical care in their prisons.
Since the Islamic Republic of Iran respect none of the human rights and principles and do not pay any attention to any resolution we all fear that the use of inhumane methods and the mistreatment of political prisoners will worsen theirdisease and kill them on a daily basis. Relying on these wilful negligent of medical care, we believe something urgent must be done. We by referring to the reasons above and other reports their behaviour we believe that Islamic Republic in many cases intentionally stop and delay the treatments of sick political prisoners to let the treatment to be more difficult and their disease become more advance. The Movement of Iranian Human Rights Activists believes that political and judicial authorities of country are responsible for intensifying the cause of these diseases and illnesses. The IRI are imposing a gradual death on the political prisoners who are ill and whom have not been executed.
We urge the international community and the Human Rights Council; it will be possible to prevent the continuation ofthese horrible methods against humanity as a new way of torture and gradual death, if we act urgently and constantly. We urge the international community and the Human Rights Council to put pressure on the Islamic Republic by a hazardous or vigilance mechanism by a pervious well known preventive measurement or way that have worked on theIslamic Republic of Iran, by a continues control on the health and the environment of the political prisoners in theirprisons, Forcing the authorities to provide a fair treatment of all prisoners who need medical care, case by case and name by name, to save lives and to avoid the danger of a gradual death.
With Kind Regards
The Secretariat of the Movement Human Rights Activists of Iran London 12th of December2012
